The State Minister of Diaspora attended the first meeting of the Albanian-Kosovo Joint Commission for the approval of textbooks for Diaspora, which was established under an agreement between the two countries “On being organized for the Albanian language teaching and Albanian culture dissemination in Albanian communities living abroad”.

In his speech, the State Minister of Diaspora stated that the issue of education in Diaspora is a challenge. However, we can overcome this issue through the establishment of the commission and further cooperation between the two countries.

The Publication Center of Diaspora aims to coordinate the work of the joint commission and support various publications for the Albanian Diaspora.

The members of the commission elected as chairman, Mr. Nuhi Gashi; Mr. Gashi is a representative of the Diaspora supplementary education at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Kosovo. The members agreed on drafting guidelines for the functioning of the commission.

The commission consists of representatives from the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth in Albania and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Kosovo.
