Second meeting of the Coordinators Group on the implementation of the Diaspora Strategy Plan (2018-2024) took place today at the premises of the Prime Minister’s Office. The Coordinators Group, which consists of representatives from the State Minster for Diaspora, the National Diaspora Agency, the deputy ministers of relevant ministries as well as two experts from the respective institutions, are responsible for the implementation of the measures included in the Action Plan.
The discussion at the meeting focused on receiving comments and suggestions from the attendees on the implementation of the measures and having a prediction of the financial costs needed for the implementation of the measures.
The representatives of the Group, including INSTAT, Ministry of Health and Social Protection, and Ministry of Economy and Finance, discussed some issues related to the implementation of the measures. Meanwhile, the State Minister for Diaspora, Mr. Pandeli Majko, asked the relevant institutions to have a prediction of the financial costs for the activities included in the measures of the Action Plan.
Minister Majko, at the end of the meeting, thanked everyone for their contribution and reminded them that the work progress of the Strategy Plan will be reflected on a bulletin, which will be published every three months.
