Representatives of the State Committee on Diaspora held a meeting today. State Minister of Diaspora gave a presentation on the progress made so far in regards to the state structure for diaspora, including various activities of the National Agency of Diaspora, the Albanian Fund for the Development of Diaspora and the Publication Center of Diaspora.

Today’s meeting was also attended by the following state coordinators: State coordinator for state agreements regarding social security for Albanians living abroad, Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Etjen Xhafaj; state coordinator for organizing the annual program of activities for the Albanian diaspora, Deputy Minister for Tourism and Environment, Ms. Ornela Çuçi; state coordinator responsible for informing diaspora, Mr. Fatjon Hallkaj (AKSHI); state coordinator for programs/donors offering scholarships for studying abroad, Deputy Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Mr. Redi Shtino; and state coordinator for state agreements regarding recognition of driving licenses for Albanians living abroad, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Mr. Artan Shkreli.

Each coordinator gave a PowerPoint presentation on their work progress so far and what they aimed to achieve in the future.
