The magazine “State Arrangements in the Field of Insurance for Albanian Citizens Abroad” is a special electronic publication of the National Diaspora Agency.

The publication of the magazine is related to providing complete information to the public on the interstate agreements of the Republic of Albania with the host countries of the Albanian communities for the mutual recognition of social security contributions (for pensions).

State agreements in the field of insurance for Albanian citizens abroad, signed by the Republic of Albania with other countries for social protection, guarantee the transfer of old age pensions together with other social insurance benefits. They guarantee the beneficiaries the benefit of the pension according to the years of work they have registered in the states parties to the agreements.

The magazine includes the annual report for 2020 of the state coordinator for state agreements in the field of insurance for Albanian citizens abroad of the Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr Sokol Dedja. This report assesses the situation of negotiations and their progress during 2020 in relation to the countries, which the Republic of Albania has not yet signed a bilateral agreement.

The electronic edition of the magazine contains the full texts of the agreements signed by the Republic of Albania in the field of insurance for Albanian citizens abroad with the Republic of Turkey, the Kingdom of Belgium, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Romania, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Czech Republic, Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of Austria, Republic of Kosovo and Canada.
