Today, the second meeting of the inter-institutional working group was held to review the National Diaspora Strategy and Action Plan, established by Order no. 53, dated 9.4.2020 “On the establishment of the inter-institutional working group for the revision of the National Diaspora Strategy and the Action Plan”.

During the virtual meeting, Minister Majko presented the draft Strategy and requested the suggestions of the group members regarding the review of the measures of the Action Plan. The revised strategy will be submitted for approval at the end of June 2020.

The group is headed by the Minister of State for the Diaspora, Mr. Pandeli Majko and consists of the Deputy Ministers in the Ministry responsible for foreign affairs, education, finance, tourism, internal affairs, justice, health, agriculture, culture; representatives of the Minister of State for the Protection of Entrepreneurship and the Academy of Sciences; and head of INSTAT and the National Diaspora Agency.
