The State Minister for Diaspora, Mr. Pandeli Majko and the Executive Director of the National Diaspora Agency, Mr. Dritan Delija, attended the “Diaspora Businesses Week” event organized in Pristina. About 300 Diaspora businesses had the opportunity to promote their ventures. This event aims to promote the cooperation and contribution of the Albanian diaspora entrepreneurs with their country of origin.
Minister Majko stated that the “Diaspora Businesses Week” event shows the importance of the Albanian diaspora. “Nowadays, the Albanian Diaspora is not thought only in numbers, how many Albanians are living abroad, but it represents the quality of everyday life in Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, and Montenegro. Diaspora has achieved a high status without anyone’s help and they should be congratulated for their success.” In addition, during his speech, Mr. Majko emphasized the important cooperation that exists between Kosovo and Albania on diaspora issues.
