Meeting of the inter-institutional working group on the implementation of order no. 180 of the Prime Minister “On the establishment of the inter-institutional working group for having a platform of programs for learning Albanian language, Albanian culture and national identity” took place today; participants discussed some of the most important issues of the aforementioned order.

State Minister of Diaspora, Mr. Pandeli Majko highlighted the importance of having a solid structure for the platform of programs that will be broadcasted on the RTSH Diaspora. This platform should include educational programs.

One of the most important issues mentioned by Minister Majko is the unification of textbooks of the Albanian language.

Minister Majko stated that it is important for the group of experts on the implementation of the “Agreement on Curricula” between the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Albania and Kosovo, in cooperation with the Publication Center of Diaspora to finalize the unified textbooks of the Albanian language that will be distributed in Diaspora.

Part of the discussion was also appointment of the Deputy Minister of Culture as the National Coordinator for the Diaspora Annual Program.
