Different representatives of state institutions managing relations with Diaspora conducted a study visit to Rome, Italy.
The purpose of the visit was to gain and exchange experience for increasing the capacity of the Albanian government, institutions and agencies to engage Diaspora in the country’s development. The visit was part of the Programme “Engage Albanian Diaspora to the Social and Economic Development of Albania”.
While in Rome, representatives of the Albanian institutions held technical meetings and exchanged experiences with representatives of Italian institutions and organizations dealing with Diaspora issues. Discussions focused mainly on how to establish, support and promote initiatives related to institutional development, transfer of skills and knowledge, and attracting Diaspora investments in Albania.
