Creativity, cultural identity, and institutional cooperation were at the center of the discussions held on the third day of MUZA Fashion Fair Albania 2026.

The first panel, “INTERNATIONAL VISION OF FASHION,” brought together institutional representatives, professionals from the creative industries, and business stakeholders, including several participants from the Albanian diaspora, to discuss the promotion of Albanian values through creative industries and elements of tradition.

Among the panel participants was the Executive Director of the National Diaspora Agency, Ms. Ermonela Xhafa, alongside the heads of the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA), the National Tourism Agency, the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania, and the Creative Industries Agency.

The panel highlighted the importance of interinstitutional cooperation in supporting creative industries and the role they play in promoting Albanian culture, tradition, and identity. During the discussions, it was emphasized that fashion and design represent not only a creative industry, but also a means of communication and presentation of Albanian cultural values to both domestic and international audiences.

The panel also explored ways in which traditional Albanian elements can be integrated into contemporary creations, creating a closer connection between cultural heritage and younger generations, while also increasing international interest in Albanian culture.

Representatives of institutions, professionals from the fashion industry, entrepreneurs, business representatives, fashion enthusiasts, and experienced professionals in the field created a valuable space for discussion on the potential of creative industries to promote Albania, Albanian culture, and the connection with the Albanian diaspora.
