The Executive Director of the National Agency participated in the award ceremony of the competition “Initiatives with Positive Impact in the Community: Municipal Competition on Migration and Diaspora,” an event organized by IOM in Albania with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom and in cooperation with the Minister of State for Local Government.

This event brought together central and local institutions, international partners, and other key stakeholders to recognize the best initiatives that support migrants, engage the diaspora, and promote economic development and social inclusion in communities.

Congratulations to the municipalities of Has, Kamëz, Sarandë, Pogradec, and Dibër, which were recognized for their impactful initiatives and innovative approaches in addressing migration and diaspora issues.

The presence of the Executive Director at this event reaffirms the commitment of the National Agency of Diaspora to support inter-institutional cooperation, strengthen local governance, and promote successful models that contribute to the country’s sustainable development.
