“Dance Without Borders” was the title of last night’s performance at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet on the occasion of National Diaspora Day. The Albanian diaspora from Ukraine and the Folk Song and Dance Ensemble offered the Albanian audience a rare and moving experience, conveying the invaluable historical and cultural values preserved over centuries by the longstanding Albanian community of the village of Karakurt in Odessa.

This project was made possible thanks to the dedication of the National Diaspora Agency and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the work of the professionals of the Folk Song and Dance Ensemble, and the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Tirana.
