The director of the National Agency of Diaspora, Ms Etleva Kondi signed a cooperation agreement with the Director of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet of Albania, Ms Zana Çela, for preserving and promoting the national cultural identity in Diaspora.
Ms Kondi stated that this cooperation will be very fruitful as the Albanian community abroad has maintained our national values throughout the years, passing them from one generation to the next.
The National Agency of Diaspora, in cooperation with the Albanian National Ensemble, will hold several seminars for the traditional Albanian songs and dances in different Albanian communities abroad.
The seminars, which are planned to start in June, aim to introduce young Albanians with the culture of their country of origin.
The agreement includes organizing classes and trainings for learning traditional dances and songs, organizing activities for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage in Diaspora, and organizing student visits among the Albanian communities.
