Moments from the Open Discussion on the drafting of the National Diaspora Strategy 2026–2030, held at the premises of the Pyramid, with the participation of Ms. Miriam Shyti, Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, representatives of the National Diaspora Agency, IOM experts, members of the GNIP, and other institutional stakeholders, who gathered to share ideas, suggestions, and concrete proposals for the new diaspora strategy.
The meeting focused on the methodological approach, sectoral priorities, the progress of the consultative meetings held within the framework of drafting the Strategy, as well as programs aimed at strengthening ties with the Albanian diaspora and increasing its role in the country’s economic, social, and cultural development.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs remains committed to a transparent and inclusive process, considering the diaspora a strategic partner in the country’s development.
