The National Diaspora Agency supports and promotes the inclusion of Albanians from the diaspora in the country’s economic and social development by providing information and guidance on concrete opportunities for return and employment in Albania.
In this context, starting from January 2026, the National Diaspora Agency will publish detailed information on employment opportunities and professional engagement in Albania for Albanians living abroad.
We are beginning this initiative with the National Agency for Employment and Skills (NAES).
NAES has created the dedicated portal “Work and Live Where Your Heart Is”, a comprehensive information platform for Albanians who live and work abroad and aim to return to build their professional careers in Albania.
This portal, part of the national employment portal puna.gov.al, functions as an information and guidance hub, offering detailed and practical guidance on:

professional integration into the Albanian labor market,

administrative procedures for return,

access to public services, and
-
application procedures for each service.
The “Work and Live Where Your Heart Is” portal aims to facilitate the return and decision-making process for our compatriots by providing clear, structured, and up-to-date information on concrete opportunities for employment and professional contribution in Albania.
