The Council of Ministers has approved the proposal of the State Minister of Diaspora and the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth for “Organizing the Teaching Process and Selection of Diaspora Teachers”.
The purpose of this decision is to encourage and support the organization of the teaching process and the selection of teachers in the host countries of the Albanian Diaspora.

According to this decision, children up to 18 years of Albanian nationality, as well as any individual of Albanian origin who lives in the host country, regardless of his status, temporary or permanent residence, asylum seekers, temporary shelter or stateless persons are eligible to attend the Albanian language classes.
Albanian language teaching will be developed in accordance with the common curriculum according to the agreement between the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth of the Republic of Albania, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo.

The request for textbooks, supplementary materials and their quantity will be collected by the diplomatic representations of Albania in the host countries of the Albanian Diaspora. Requests through the ministry responsible for foreign affairs are sent to the Publication Center of Diaspora, the State Minister of Diaspora and the ministry responsible for education. The Publication Center of Diaspora will send to the ministry responsible for foreign affairs the amount of textbooks and supplementary materials, within August of each year, to be distributed according to the requirements in the host countries of the Albanian Diaspora.
