The purpose of this meeting was to discuss institutional cooperation on Diaspora issues and support for the Albanian community in Croatia, in particular the Arbëresh of Zadar, which are an important part of the cultural heritage.

During the meeting, Ms. Kondi gave a brief presentation on the state policies related to the Albanian Diaspora, including the mission of the National Agency of Diaspora, the projects implemented so far by this institution and the institutional cooperation with the Albanian community living abroad for the preservation of national identity.

Institutional cooperation will include teaching of the Albanian language and culture and the implementation of a pilot project with Albanian language teachers who will identify the needs of the Albanian students in this community.
