The National Diaspora Agency, in cooperation with the Directorate of Economic Diplomacy, Culture and Diaspora (MEPJ), as well as with the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece, held a series of fruitful meetings with representatives of Albanian associations in Athens.
These meetings aim to strengthen institutional cooperation, listen closely to the needs and proposals of the community, and identify new opportunities for economic, cultural, and social projects related to our active and committed diaspora.
During the discussions, the vital role of the diaspora in the country’s development, the preservation of national identity, and the promotion of Albanian values in Greece was emphasized. Representatives of the associations shared their experiences, daily challenges, and ideas for new initiatives that could lead to even closer cooperation.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEPJ) places the diaspora at the center of its focus, strengthening ties with every Albanian wherever they may be in the world, in order to preserve national unity, promote our culture and values, and sustainably affirm Albania’s role in the international arena.
Such meetings will continue in other countries where the Albanian community is present and well established, so that every Albanian community abroad feels an inseparable part of Albania.
The meeting was also attended by a member of the Coordinating Council of the Diaspora, representative for Greece, Mr. Ermal Sulaj.
Our diaspora – the voice that represents us, the force that unites us.
