Mrs. Sonila Hysi Ruka has been appointed as the executive director of the National Agency of Diaspora. She holds a BA in Finance from State University of New York”/ Empire State College, USA (2004-2009). In 2013, she completed her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch in Switzerland. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
She joined the public administration in 2014. Prior to being appointed as the Executive Director of the National Agency of Diaspora, she worked for the Ministry of Finance and Economy, in a leading position, as the Head of Financial Management of EU Assistance in Albania.
